Intelligence specialists possess comprehensive expertise in all aspects and stages of intelligence operations. Their typical responsibilities encompass the gathering, recording, analysis, processing, and dissemination of information and intelligence.

Their duties include:

  1. Offering assistance in All Source Analysis.
  2. Providing support for Steps 1-4 of the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) Process.
  3. Operating the Intelligence Operations Workstation (IOW).
  4. Drafting outgoing intelligence reports and conducting debriefs.
  5. Supporting collection planning.
  6. Delivering intelligence briefings.
  7. Ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.

Additionally, they are responsible for:

  1. Integrating All Source Information.
  2. Executing Steps 1-4 of the IPB Process.
  3. Managing system administration for the Intelligence Analysis System (IAS) Family of Systems (FOS).
  4. Reviewing outgoing intelligence reports.
  5. Incorporating emerging intelligence technology systems.
  6. Providing intelligence support for joint operations.
