Their training encompasses key doctrinal principles related to landing support and the landing force support party. This includes overseeing activities such as port operations, arrival/departure airfield operations, helicopter landing zone operations, and railhead operations.
Their specific responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks, including:
- Conducting Helicopter Support Team (HST) Operations.
- Managing Rail Operations.
- Overseeing Port Operations.
- Facilitating Beach Operations.
- Coordinating Arrival Airfield Control Group/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) Operations.
