0521 military information support operations

The Marine Corps 0521 MOS is a primary military occupational specialty (PMOS) for Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Specialists. PSYOP non-commissioned officers plan and execute psychological operations. The Marine Corps plans to have 149 Marines with the 0521 MOS next year, and at least 214 by fiscal year 2026. Demand for qualified Marines to lateral move into the 0521 MOS is expected to remain high.

To enlist in the 0521 MOS, you must: Be a Cpl or Sgt Be eligible for a TS/SCI Have a GT over 100 Have a first class PFT and CFT Complete a four day screener Be recommended for it

The 0521 MOS will consolidate with 0531 Civil Affairs Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) and 0551 Information Operations Specialist to a single PMOS of 1751 Influence Specialist.
