0627 satellite communications operator-maintainer

The Marine Corps MOS 0627 is a primary military occupational specialty (PMOS) for the position of Satellite Communications Operator. This position is part of the Communications Battalion.

The 0627 MOS is responsible for: Installing satellite communications antennas Operating satellite communications terminals Operating the secure mobile anti-jam reliable tactical terminal Completing satellite communications terminal preventative maintenance Emplace, interconnect, energize, and verify the operation of SHF satellite terminal equipment

The 0627 MOS is reserved for enlisted Marines, limited duty officers, chief warrant officers, and warrant officers.
