1361 assistant

The Marine Corps MOS 1361 is the designation for an engineer assistant. This MOS is very small and unique, much like welders. Personnel assigned this MOS perform various duties related to construction design, planning, estimating, and management. They are trained to use optical reading/electronic total station survey instruments to establish the horizontal and vertical alignment/layout for construction projects.

The MOS 1361 is a very small MOS, so unless you go reserves, you shouldn’t expect to get it.
