1700 cyberspace

The 1700 Occupational Field (OccFld) is a military occupational specialty (MOS) in the U.S. Marine Corps. The 1700 OccFld manages the career paths of Marines who have specialized training for space, electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), cyber warfare, civil affairs, and psychological operations. The 1700 OccFld creates seven cyber-specific MOS, including two for commissioned officers. The Marine Corps has hundreds of MOS roles. These roles are categorized into Military Occupational Fields.
