2111 arms technician

The Marine Corps MOS 2111 is a Small Arms Repairer/Technician. They are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all small arms used by the Marine Corps, except for vehicular mounted weapons. This is one of the most demanding and technical fields in the Marine Corps.

Small Arms Repairer/Technicians must be precise and detail oriented to find and resolve issues. They must also have a deep knowledge of firearms and their maintenance.

Small Arms Repairer/Technicians are in the grade of Private through Lance Corporal. They perform their duties under supervision.
