2141 vechicle technician

The Marine Corps 2141 MOS is the military occupational specialty for Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) and Assault Combat Vehicle (ACV) repairers and technicians. AAV repairers and technicians perform basic automotive duties, including inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the AAV and ACV family of vehicles. They also supervise and perform duties related to the automotive and turret systems of the AAV.

Marines who complete the Basic Repairer Course are awarded the 2141 MOS. The course trains AAV repairers and technicians to perform basic automotive and hull duties under supervision.

The 2141 MOS also includes preparing, maintaining, and supervising shop maintenance and management programs. They also coordinate maintenance and recovery operations according to grade.
