2651 maintenance

The 2651 MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) in the United States Marine Corps is for “Electronics Maintenance Chief”. Marines with this MOS are responsible for all aspects of special intelligence communications, including using equipment. They also maintain files, log publications, and perform other operational and administrative tasks.

Marines with this MOS receive training in: Computer hardware fundamentals Operating systems Information assurance Database and data flow management Radio frequency theory Satellite communications Networking System integration Network and data science philosophies

Marines with this MOS also receive training in unit-unique computer security systems, the operation of power supply, and operator vehicle maintenance procedures.
