4133 community service

The Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 4133 is for Marines who want to work in retail. These Marines are also known as Marine Corps Community Service (MCCS) Marines. They provide customer service, perform administrative tasks, and manage personnel, funds, property, and merchandise. They also conduct inventories, purchase, receive, store, and issue inventory and merchandise.

MCCS Marines usually range in rank from chief warrant officer 2-5 or sergeant to master gunnery sergeant. Unlike most Marine Corps MOSs, the 4133 MOS can only be earned through a lateral move. This means that a Marine with an established MOS chooses to change their MOS to fit their personal and professional goals.
