The Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) code 4541 is for Combat Photographer. Combat photographers use digital cameras and accessories to capture images in the studio, field, and combat environments. They also plan for communication and operational needs, develop shot lists, and select and edit images for layout.

The four-month combat photography training is held at Fort Meade in Maryland after boot camp. However, you may be able to skip training if you have taken comparable civilian training or can demonstrate proficiency.
