6046 aircraft maintenance administration

The Marine Corps MOS 6046 is an Aircraft Maintenance Administration Specialist. These Marines work behind the scenes in aircraft maintenance and repair activities. They maintain aircraft log books, naval aircraft maintenance publications, and prepare reports, logs, records, directives, and correspondence. They also keep records of flight logs, maintenance records, and Marine Corps directives to ensure that all flights are tracked and all aircraft are regularly maintained.
