6256 aircraft airframe mechanic

The Marine Corps MOS 6256 is a Fixed-Wing Aircraft Airframe Mechanic for KC-130 aircraft. Marines with this MOS are trained to repair, inspect, and maintain airframe components on fixed-wing aircraft. They are assigned to KC-130 aircraft. Their job duties include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft hydraulic/pneumatic and structure systems. They use a variety of equipment and weapons to maintain and repair aircraft. They use hand and power tools, such as wrenches, pliers, and drills, to remove and install parts.
