0369 - Infantry Unit Leader

Summary

The Infantry Unit Leader is responsible to the commander and assists in the planning, training, deployment and employment of all infantry organic weapons systems and the units combat power capabilities.

They supervise and coordinate the preparation and assignment of personnel/ equipment in accordance with the Table of Organization/Table of Equipment of their unit.

Supervises the establishment and operation of unit command and control to include the integration and synchronization of the warfighting functions.

Prerequisites

Have held one of the following 0311, 0331, 0341, or 0352.

Security requirement: secret security clearance required.

Requirements

Complete the Infantry Unit Leader Course (M03H5K4) at School of Infantry, Camp Lejeune, NC; or (M10H5K2) at School of Infantry (West), Camp Pendleton, CA (reserve component is waived from this requirement).

Attain promotion to SSgt.
