1342 - Small Craft Mechanic

Summary

Small Craft Mechanics perform preventive maintenance and repairs to Marine Corps-owned watercraft, boats, and rubber-hulled vessels; repair diesel engines, outboard engines, and hydro jet propulsion systems; and repair craft trailers and cradle systems owned by the Marine Corps.

Examples are long-range unmanned surface vessels, Marine Corps open water safety craft, or craft operated or owned by Recon, MARSOC, and all FMF units.

Prerequisites

Must be qualified in MOS 1341.

Requirements

Complete the Small Craft Mechanic Course (M03EAW2) Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp Lejeune, NC.
