2102 - Ordnance Officer
Summary
Ordnance Officers manage ordnance operations in the Marine Forces, MEFs, bases, posts, and stations to include HQMC.
They serve as the Ground Ordnance Maintenance Technical Advisor in general staff.
They may command or assist in commanding a ground ordnance maintenance unit, or test, evaluate, and advise in a foreign or joint environment.
Prerequisites
Must have previously held WO MOSs: 2110, 2120, or 2125.
Must meet eligibility and appointment criteria as prescribed in MCO 1040.42B, WO and LDO accession programs.
Requirements
Achieve selection by the board to Limited Duty Officer (LDO).
Recommended that newly selected LDOs attend the following courses: Joint Logistics Course (JLC) (A14L232).
Intermediate MAGTF Logistics Operations Course (IMLOC) (M09F2F9).
