4407 - Master of Labor Law

Summary

A Master of Labor Law provides specialized skill in technical areas of Civilian Personnel and Labor Law.

Prerequisites

Must hold a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Labor or Civilian Personnel Law; from an American Bar Association accredited program.

Must be in the rank of Major or Lieutenant Colonel.

Judge Advocates who obtain the necessary LL.M.

as a Captain will not receive the additional MOS until promoted to the rank of Major.

Requirements

Judge Advocate Division, in conjunction with DC, M&RA (MMOA), is responsible for assignment of this AMOS.

Duties

Judge advocates with a Master of Laws degree in Labor Law serve in billets requiring an understanding of complex statutory and regulatory civilian personnel law issues.

May serve in any other MOS 4402 billet.
