4408 - Master of Procurement Law

Summary

A Master of Procurement Law provides specialized skill in complex areas of Procurement, Acquisition, and Contract Law.

Prerequisites

Must hold a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Procurement Law from an American Bar Association accredited program.

Must be in the rank of Major.

Judge advocates who obtain the necessary LL.M.

as a Captain will not receive the additional MOS until promoted to the rank of Major.

Requirements

Judge Advocate Division, in conjunction with DC, M&RA (MMOA), is responsible for assignment of this AMOS.

Duties

Judge Advocates with a Master of Laws degree in Procurement Law serve in billets requiring an understanding of garrison-related procurement matters.

May serve in any other MOS 4402 billet.
