6035 - Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Maintenance Specialist

Summary

Joint Strike Fighter Maintenance Specialists perform specific support functions directly related to F-35 maintenance and the autonomic logistics information system (ALIS).

This MOS will be assigned as an NMOS only.

Prerequisites

Must be skill qualified as an Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist (MOS 6046); Flight Equipment Technician (MOS 6048); Aviation Supply Specialist (MOS 6672); or Aviation Logistics Information Management System (ALIMS) Specialist (MOS 6694).

Requirements

This MOS is to be assigned only as a necessary-PMOS to qualified 6046, 6048, 6672, and 6694 Marines who have successfully completed the requisite training course, or the appropriate on the job training, in support of F-35 maintenance and supply functions at the squadron level, and are designated by a squadron commanding officer.

Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist, MOS 6046, must complete the course indicated and be indirect support of F-35 operations: Obtain an IAT Level II certification.

Complete the ALIS Management and Supervision Course (C-555-2019).

Complete the Network Plus Certification Course (M03KZ7G, M10KZ7B, or M22KZ74).

Complete the Security Plus Certification Course (M03D3RG, M10D3RB, or M22D3R4).

Must complete the ALIS Database Administrator/Analyst (C-555-2023) (N56F2J2), Eglin AFB, FL or mobile training team.

Flight Equipment Technicians, MOS 6048, must complete the course indicated, or its equivalent United Kingdom or Air Force course, and have minimum 6 months MOS credibility in direct support of F-35 operations at the squadron level, and be designated by the commanding officer.

Specific tasks for MOS credibility can be found in the MOS Training and Readiness Manual: Must complete the F-35B/C Flight Equipment Organizational Maintenance Course (N5694Q2), Eglin AFB, FL.

Aviation Logistics Information Management System (ALIMS) Specialist, MOS 6694, must complete the courses indicated to receive the NMOS 6035 designation.

Alternate means of attaining the 6035 NMOS requires a minimum 12 months MOS proficiency in direct support of F-35 operations, and be designated by the commanding officer.

Complete the Security Plus Certification Course (M03D3RG, M10D3RB, or M22D3R4).

Complete the Network Plus Certification Course (M03KZ7G, M10KZ7B, or M22KZ74).

Aviation Supply Specialist, MOS 6672, must have minimum 6 months MOS credibility in direct support of F-35 operations at the squadron level, and be designated by the Commanding Officer.
