7538 - EA-6B Defensive Tactics Instructor (DEFTACTI) Qualification

THIS IS AN OBSOLETE MOS, NO LONGER IN USE IN THE TABLE OF ORGANIZATION OF THE MARINE CORPS.

THIS MOS IS MAINTAINED IN THE MOS MANUAL BECAUSE IT APPEARS IN THE RECORDS OF MARINES STILL ON ACTIVE DUTY.

DEFTACI qualified personnel are trained on tactical employment of the EA-6B in air threat environments.

This MOS will be assigned only as a Necessary MOS to qualified aviation personnel.

Be qualified in defensive tactics (DEFTAC).

Complete defensive tactics (DEFTAC) work ups per the EA-6B T&R.

Instruct and qualify students in DEFTAC in the EA-6B.
