8017 - Billet Designator-Unrestricted Information Officer

Summary

This MOS will be used in the T/O to designate a billet to which an unrestricted officer with an information-related PMOS may be assigned but will not be assigned to an individual.

Prerequisites

Must possess PMOSs 0202, Intelligence Officer, 0602, Communications Officer, 1702, Cyberspace Warfare Officer, 1706, Maritime Space Officer; 1707, Influence Officer, or 4502, Communications Strategy and Operations Officer.

Officers with FMOS/EMOSs 0510, Basic Information Staff Officer, 1781, Basic Information Planner, 1730, Civil Affairs Officer, 0550, Advanced Information Operations Planner, or 1704, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) Planner are also eligible.
