150X Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer (06 and above)
In the United States Navy, 150X is a Restricted Line AED Flag Officer or Captain. 150X is an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer who works in engineering or maintenance.
Designators 151X and 152X merge into 150X at pay grade O-6.
To become an Engineering Duty Officer, you must have a four-year degree from an accredited U.S. college or university. High schoolers and current undergraduates can enter through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) or through the U.S. Naval Academy.
Applicants must be at least 19 years old and less than 42 years of age at the time of commissioning. Non-prior Service personnel over 42 years of age and less than 54 years of age may be considered for a waiver.
