NCC Navy Counselor (Counselor)

NCC stands for Navy Civilian Careers. It’s a partnership between three Navy Systems Commands that provide civilian support for servicemen.

The Navy Counselor (NCC) rating is an occupational rating in the United States Navy.

Navy Counselors: Assist commands in organizing, implementing, and managing enlisted career information programs Evaluate and inspect enlisted career information programs within their own command and/or subordinate commands Supervise and coordinate interviews and counseling efforts Counsel individuals

U.S. naval ratings are the equivalent of military occupational specialty codes (MOS codes) used by the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps.
