UT Utilitiesman

The Navy MOS UT, or Utilitiesman, plans, supervises, and performs tasks involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of: Plumbing Heating Steam Compressed air Fuel storage and distribution systems Water treatment and distribution systems Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment Sewage collection and disposal facilities

UTs also work on: Waste-water and sewage systems Water treatment facilities Fire hydrants and plumbing systems Laundry equipment Compressed-air systems

The UT rating requires a minimum of a 5 year enlistment obligation. The Utilitiesman class “A” school is approximately 13 weeks in duration and is located at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
