728X Acoustic Technician CWO

The Acoustic Technician CWO (728X) is a position in the US Navy that serves in the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS).

Acoustic Technicians are responsible for: Providing acoustic analytical expertise Tactically employing undersea sensors Supporting fleet and strategic undersea warfare objectives

Applicants for the Acoustic Technician CWO position must demonstrate: Sustained superior performance Strong acoustic analytical skill

The Warrant Officer Program is open to all enlisted Navy people with the rank of chief petty officer or above and have completed at least 12 years of naval service. Warrant officers are senior to all enlisted chief petty officers and junior to all ensigns.
