How to fill out the Worksheet (DAF Form 4446 layout, 2026 PFA)
A practice scorecard for the 2026 Air Force Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA). It mirrors the DAF Form 4446 rows but uses the new components: cardio (2-mile run or 20 m HAMR, 50 points), waist-to-height ratio (20 points), strength (15 points), and core (15 points). The official scorecard is filled out by your PFA administrator; this is for planning and practice. When: Before a diagnostic or record PFA, after mock tests, and when setting a training plan with your UFPM or supervisor.
Step by step
- Record your height and waist measurement and work out your WHtR (waist ÷ height, truncated to two decimals).
- Pick your cardio, strength, and core events. Note any exemptions and their expiration dates from your AF Form 469.
- Enter raw results (time, reps, or shuttles) and look up each component score on the current DAFMAN 36-2905 charts for your age and sex.
- Check each component meets its minimum, then add the scores for the composite.
- Write the target for each component and the date of your next practice test.
What a strong one looks like
- Point split under the 2026 standard: cardio 50, WHtR 20, strength 15, core 15.
- Official scored testing under the new standard began 1 Jul 2026 (Jan 2026 announcement), after a diagnostic period that started 1 Mar 2026.
- The Jan 2026 update lets Airmen choose the HAMR instead of the 2-mile run on either test. Guardians still run 2 miles on at least one test a year; check SPFMAN 36-2905.
- Body composition can be measured up to five days before the PFA for active duty.
Common mistakes
- Using old 1.5-mile run charts. The 2026 standard uses a 2-mile run.
- Assuming the composite is all that matters. You must also meet each component minimum; confirm the current passing composite (75.0 under recent guidance) and minimums in DAFMAN 36-2905.
- Treating this worksheet as your official record. Only the Fitness Assessment Cell's entry counts.
