The 2G0X1 AFSC is responsible for the development, evaluation, monitoring, and supervision of logistics plans and programs, including war readiness materials (WRM), deployments, employment, and support planning and agreements. This role is crucial for ensuring that logistics support aligns with the operational requirements of aerospace weapon systems and the broader objectives of the Air Force.

- Tech School Duration: 27 Days at Lackland AFB.

Entry Requirements for 2G0X1:

- Security Clearance: Routine access to Secret material or similar environment is necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logistics Planning: Engages in adaptive planning processes for logistics, developing logistics annexes for various plans and orders.
- Deployment Planning: Prepares for and supervises all aspects of deployment planning, including dispersal, sustainment, recovery, and logistics support procedures.
- Command and Control: Establishes and operates logistics command and control centers, supervising deployments and ensuring effective deployment guidance.
- WRM Management: Develops guidance for the administration and management of War Readiness Materials, analyzing reports to validate constraints and develop planning factors.
- Support Agreements: Acts as the installation support agreement manager, guiding the preparation and negotiation of support agreements.
Specialty Qualifications:
Knowledge Required: Comprehensive understanding of logistics planning techniques across various functional areas, Air Force operations and organization, deployment processes, readiness assessments, data processing, and basic budgeting techniques.
Education and Training:
- High school completion is desirable for entry.
- Mandatory completion of a basic logistics plans course for AFSC 2G031 award.
Experience:
- Progression from basic logistics planning and document preparation to more advanced levels, including supervising and managing logistics activities.
