13J Fire Control Specialist
The Army Fire Control Specialist (MOS 13J) integrates and processes tactical battlefield information. They operate and maintain the Army’s fire direction control systems, including radar, computers, and calculators. They also establish, maintain, and operate communications systems.
MOS 13J duties include: Supervising all fire direction operations Establishing and sustaining communications across all mission command platforms Establishing and maintaining communications systems To become a Fire Control Specialist, you must: Complete 10 weeks of basic combat training Attend seven weeks of advanced individual training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma Pass a background check
Upon graduation, you will be eligible for worldwide assignments.
