2311 ammunation technician

The Marine Corps MOS 2311 is an Ammunition Technician. These highly skilled and trained Marines are responsible for the handling, storage, and maintenance of ammunition and explosive materials. They work with all types of ammunition and toxic chemicals.

MOS 2311 Ammunition Technicians are not combat jobs. They keep track of and organize ammunition for various platoons and missions. They are in charge of picking up rounds from the ASP and getting them to the battery firing position.

This MOS requires a secret security clearance and additional prerequisites.
