1713 - Exploitation Analyst
Summary
This NMOS requires advanced analytical training.
Exploitation Analysts are the primary technical planners for offensive cyberspace operations.
The Exploitation Analyst must be an expert with adversary systems, networks, technologies, tools, techniques, and procedures.
The duties for MOS 1713 encompass generating intelligence, converting intelligence to operational planning, developing significant target awareness, and balancing levels of risk against operational goals.
Duties increase with experience to encompass the management of target packages and developing new techniques and procedures for offensive cyber operations.
Prerequisites
Must be currently assigned to one of the following PMOSs: 1721, 1799, or 2629.
Requirements
Complete training and certification standards as determined by the National Security Agency or United States Cyber Command.
MOS 1713 assigned upon approval of the Director, Information Maneuver Division.
