2112 - Precision Weapons Repairer/Technician

Summary

The Precision Weapons Repairer/Technician performs duties incident to inspection, maintenance, fabrication, build and repair of precision small arms in support of the Competition-in-Arms Program , Depot Maintenance Intra-Service Support Agreement program, and the Operating forces.

This MOS will be assigned as a NMOS only.

Prerequisites

Must hold PMOS 2111.

Must have a minimum MM score of 105.

Must be at least the rank of Corporal but no higher than the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Must have at least three years TIS and no more than 12 years TIS.

Must be eligible to execute permanent change of station orders to attend the Precision Weapons Repair Course (M022199).

Must have at least three years of obligated service remaining upon completion of the Precision Weapons Repair Course (PWRC).

Requirements

Must submit a completed Precision Weapons Repair Course (M022199) Screening Checklist to the course chief, PWRC.

Must submit a letter of recommendation from a Precision Weapons Technician/Ordnance Chief/Ordnance Officer or an SNCO/Officer in the Marine’s chain of command to the course chief, PWRC.

Must successfully complete the NMOS 2112 Precision Weapons Repair Course (M022199).
