6044 - Additive Manufacturing Specialist

Summary

Additive Manufacturing Specialist provide additive manufacturing capability to the Marine Aviation Logistics (MALS) units by operating computer aided design software and various types of 3D printing machines.

This MOS will be assigned as a NMOS.

Prerequisites

Must be designated as one of the following PMOSs: 2161, 6042, 6046, 6048, 6049, 6062, 6073, 6074, 6092, 6123, 6124, 6132, 6222, 6226, 6227, 6423, 6432, 6469, 6483, 6492, 6499, 6531, 6541, 6591, 6672, or 6694.

Requirements

Complete the T&R level 1000 qualification.

Must be associated with and actively maintaining the T&R qualification requirements to perform AM duties for work center 550 over a period of at least 9 months.
