1A Aircrew Operations

1A is an Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) for Aircrew Operations. Aircrew members perform in-flight duties to ensure the successful completion of missions.

They: Inspect equipment to ensure it’s in working order Operate and monitor engine and aircraft systems controls, panels, indicators, and devices To qualify for this position, you must: Have a high school diploma or GED Complete eight and a half weeks of Basic Military Training Complete technical training Other requirements may be necessary. Other AFSCs include: 1B – Cyber Warfare 1C – Command and control Systems Operations 1D – Cyber Defense Operations 1N – Intelligence
