36B Financial Management Technician

The Army MOS 36B is a Financial Management Technician. This position is responsible for accounting, budget reporting, and disbursing government funds. The MOS 36B also handles commitment and obligations documents, and maintains disbursing files.

The MOS 36B performs duties such as: Budgeting, disbursing, and accounting for government funds Processing treasury checks for payment Maintaining disbursing files Preparing financial reports Receiving, reviewing, preparing, and computing travel vouchers Managing and processing all Case Management System (CMS) cases Assisting Readiness NCO in pay inquiries

The MOS 36B works in an office setting and teaches skills in finance management. The skills and experience gained in this position can help with a transition to the civilian workforce.
