35S Signals Collector/Analyst
The Army MOS 35S is a Signals Collection Analyst. These soldiers are responsible for detecting, acquiring, locating, and identifying foreign electronic intelligence. They use signals intelligence (SIGINT) equipment to search the radio spectrum for target communications. They analyze the signals to determine their parameters and prepare logs and reports based on the information they gather. The analysts exploit non-voice communications and other electronic signals to produce strategic and tactical intelligence.
The analysts also supervise the acquisition, collection, and analysis of foreign communications and radar signals. They manage the collection resources and report their findings to appropriate commanders.
