Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Supervises and performs On-Line Vehicle Interactive Management System (OLVIMS) functions and manages vehicle leasing programs.
- Data Analysis: Inputs, verifies, and analyzes data in OLVIMS and SBSS systems, developing specific data retrievals for trend analysis.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinates with supervisors and organizations to ensure timely vehicle repairs and monitors contract and warranty repairs.
- Program Management: Develops and administers maintenance plans, programs, and delayed maintenance and accident and abuse programs.
- Record Keeping: Operates computers and calculators to maintain and file vehicle historical data and records.
Specialty Qualifications:
- Knowledge Requirements: Vehicle fleet management and analysis, maintenance responsibilities, data collection/reporting procedures, and small computer operation.
- Education and Training: High school completion is desirable, with courses in algebra, small computer operations, and auto mechanics. Mandatory completion of a fleet management and analysis apprentice course.
- Experience: Experience in vehicle fleet management and analysis, quality control, and parts/materials management is required for advancement.
