255N Network Systems Technician

The Army MOS 255N is a Network Management Technician. These technicians are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense Information Networks (DODIN). They supervise the operation of information networks, systems, and personnel at the local and wide area network (LAN & WAN) level. They also advise the commander and Signal operations officer of the status of assigned networks.

The MOS 255N is a warrant officer MOS. To become a warrant officer, you need to apply to and pass Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS). After graduation, you’ll receive more focused technical training in your specialty.

The MOS 255N provides rapid and reliable information systems to support the command and control of the Army’s combat forces.
