255Z Senior Signal Warrant Officer

Army MOS 255Z is a non-accession MOS that serves as a technical and tactical advisor for network operations and signal systems. They provide maintenance support for all of the Army’s Signal equipment. They also coordinate contracting, procurement, and material acquisition programs.

MOS 255Z technicians are the Army’s premier technical and tactical advisors for full spectrum network operations. They can work at any echelon of command or support activity of the U.S. Army. They can also work for joint staff sections assigned to theater combatant commanders or allied armies.

MOS 255Z is the capstone MOS for 255A. They may be selected to serve in Army Warrant Officer MOS.
