1751 operations specialists

he Marine Corps 1751 MOS is for Influence Operations Specialists. These specialists help the Marine Corps understand and achieve effects in the information environment. They are part of the Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Civil Affairs forces. These forces conduct military information support operations (MISO), civil affairs operations (CAO), or civil military operations.

The 17XX field created four new military occupational specialties (MOS): 1751 Influence Specialist 1795 Influence Chief 1706 Maritime Space Officer 1707 Influence Officer

The 17XX field manages the career path of Marines who have specialized training for space, electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), cyber warfare, civil affairs, and psychological operations. The demand for qualified Marines to lateral move into the 1751 MOS is expected to remain high.
