718X Electronics Technician (Surface) CWO
The Electronics Technician (Surface) Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) is a maintenance technician in the US Navy.
They have strong technical leadership and management experience in combat systems, operations, or weapons departments.
They can serve at sea or ashore, repairing systems and equipment on Navy surface ships and landing craft. They may also participate in humanitarian aid missions such as disaster response.
The Electronics Technician (Surface) CWO designation was established after World War II. It was one of several expansions of the Radio Electrician category.
