783X Intelligence Technician CWO
The U.S. Navy Intelligence Technician CWO (783X) supervises, directs, and trains intelligence personnel. They assemble and analyze CI/HUMINT reports, provide GEOINT/Targeting support to Carrier Air Wing (CVW), Tomahawk Land Attack Missile and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) strike missions, and analyze multi-source OPINTEL of surface, sub-surface, and air activity.
Intelligence Technicians CWOs: Review and evaluate digital data that an enemy or suspected threat force could use to negate the effectiveness of Naval intelligence-gather operations
Include information yielded from: Imagery Signals Human resources Measurement and signatures Open-source data Serve on large ships, with aircraft squadrons, and at various intelligence production centers located in the U.S. or overseas
Intelligence Technicians are selected based on their Navy enlisted classification (NEC) codes.
