12J General Construction Equipment Operator

The Army MOS 12J is a General Construction Equipment Operator. They operate air compressors and other pneumatic tools, and perform digging, backfilling, and loading operations. They also operate self-propelled compaction rollers during construction operations.

Other duties include: Operating water distributors during compaction and dust control operations Operating earth augers Operating special purpose construction machines

The MOS 12J may also cross train soldiers in engineer qualification tables.
