8C000 Airman and Family RNCO

8C000 is the special duty identifier for an Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) Readiness Noncommissioned Officer (RNCO). The RNCO’s duties include: Advising the A&FRC Chief on readiness and resilience Supporting the A&FRC’s mission to ensure programs and services are responsive Administering activities of a base family support center (FSC), including family readiness functions Acting as a liaison between the FSC and supporting Briefing and assisting military members, DoD civilians, and families during emergencies and natural disasters Providing assistance during contingency operations Being an integral member of the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) The RNCO is the principal military advisor to the A&FRC Chief. They also support the A&FRC’s overall functional mission.
